Mira My fruit of moonlight Casts a long shadow of sleep Upon the Earth’s scourge Ichiro Child, forever young Frolicks in garden’s cradle “Splash” go the koi fish Cora Buttons and trinkets In the stump in summer light Shimmering like gold Katarina An old ghost wanders Haunting the withered forest Is that snow or ash? Sascha The wayward prince heals His land of embers and ash The steppe born anew Valentine Fresh spring blossoms bloom Twin souls merge under sunlight Esk’s image of love Finn Blue glittering sea Invites endless joy pending One forgets her past Jade As snow falls outside Her flame transforms and dances The viewers transfixed Aeris A fragile spent bird Emerges fresh from under A blanket of snow Bucky The clever trickster Hides among the leaves, giggling His victim aghast Dragonfruit esk (3765) Under market stall A knife slices through pink skin Black seeds on white flesh Temple esk (1789) The old guardian Bares his nonexistent teeth Feet
